Daddy (an Eagle Scout) was so happy when Ryan asked to be in Cub Scouts. He joined the pack at his elementary school. First graders are Tiger Cubs. A couple of weeks ago we had our first adventure with the boy scouts called Trailblazer Day. Everything the cub scouts do is for the whole family, so little brother got to participate in everything.
BB guns were a big hit.
Yes, they are "fishing" in the middle of a field. They had plastic fish out it the field they were trying to catch. A bunch of first graders practicing casting is dangerous enough, I guess they didn't want to add water.
