We bought a house!
This was our favorite house buying experience yet! The first house was exciting, but being our first time as homeowners, we were pretty nervous. The second and third houses we were a little rushed and just had to find something. The fourth time's the charm! This time we have been living in town for two years and watching the market. Thus we are very comfortable with both the neighborhood and price. Plus we really feel like we got everything we wanted in a house. And the best part, we are in good financial shape. We put 20% down on the house and we still have a sizeable emergency fund. It didn't even bother us to take that big check to closing, because there was nothing else we would have rather done with that money!

Congrats again. What part of town is this? I can't quite place it.
How fun! I am excited for you guys! We will be in town for Christmas, we'll have to get together!
