Safe in Kabul

PRAISE THE LORD! Thank you all for praying.

Luke called at 5:45 this morning and he was at the Kabul airport. He had his ticket in his hand and the plane was on the ground so he was very happy. He should get to Dubai in plenty of time to make his connection to Atlanta. He will get to Costa Rica about an hour before we do on Tuesday.

He said it was the most insane ride of his life on the way there. He said he'd tell me about it later. Sounds scary. Also, while he was talking to me he said there were people taking livestock on the airplane. That should make for a lovely smelling ride!

Now that I'm done being frozen with worry, I'm back to getting excited about the trip.
