Planning trips with Daddy!

We are so excited about Luke coming home for a visit in March. We have been having tons of fun planning our trip. Ryan has been asking to go see the Alamo since before Daddy left. So we are going to go to San Antonio. We will see the Alamo and the Riverwalk, and we are also going to go to Sea World. We have never been there, but have heard it is really great. We will also be spending time in Austin to visit Luke's brother and other relatives.


This picture is of the boys holding a giant Costa Rica map. The other trip we are planning with Daddy is our summer trip to Costa Rica! Luke wants to stay out of the country for a full 330 days to get the tax break. So, instead of him coming here to visit us over the summer, we are going to visit him. Only we decided we didn't really want to vacation in Afghanistan, so we are going to meet in Costa Rica. We have rented a large, 6 bedroom house right on the beach near Jaco, Costa Rica. The house has a pool, sea kayaks to use, and much much more. We are also researching other things to do while we are there such as rainforest tours and seeing an active volcano. It makes the time apart go faster when we have something exciting to focus on- like these great trips!
