interesting day

today was my day off, which was nice. however, I woke up at 8:30 to a loud bang. A landmine went off 56 feet from our huts door, in the area we park our trucks in. A cement truck ran over it,and it blew the rear wheels and tires off of the thing. A little more excitement, and a lot closer than i would like.
